Booking Rules
- Members can book the squash courts 7 days prior from 6 am. In other words, you can only book after 6 am today to play 7 days from today.
- Members can book the tennis courts 7 days prior from 12 noon. In other words, you can only book after 12 noon today to play 7 days from today.
- Members must select their playing partner / opponent's name to show on the booking sheets.
- If playing alone then members must select the 'Playing Alone' option.
- Please note a £5 Guest Fee may be automatically applied to bookings where no selection has been made on the booking sheet.
- If you select playing alone but have an opponent on court then you will be charged a penalty fee of a minimum of £10.
- Failure to comply with any of the booking rules following a warning by email may result in an automatic penalty charge of £25.
- Maximum 2 advance bookings per member per day (squash: 2 x 45 mins, tennis: 2 x 60 mins), more can be booked on the same day playing.
- Light Meters
- Squash: £6 per 45 minutes
- Tennis £6 per 60 minutes
- Light tokens must be purchased at the club.
- It is not permissible to play on the squash courts without using a light card.
- There is no booking fee for booking squash courts but this booking system will impose late-cancellation and no-show charges, as follows.
- Late-Cancellation Policy
- When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel as soon as possible so that others may use the court.
- There is no late-cancellation charge when the booking is cancelled more than 24 hours prior to start time.
- When the booking is cancelled within 24 hours prior to start time, the system automatically charges a £2.50 late-cancellation charge, however, this charge is automatically refunded if the same court and start time is re-booked.
- Tennis: In case of bad weather, please be sure to cancel your booking and Contact Us to request late-cancellation charge refund.
- IMPORTANT: Check-In/No-Shows Policy
- Members are required to check-in on the touch screen "kiosk" system to confirm court usage.
- The check-in must be done within 1 hour prior to playing (or within 1 hour after playing).
- You will need to know your system PIN to check-in on the touch screen "kiosk" system in the club bar. You can look-up your PIN when logged into the Booking System website or use the Forgotten Password process.
- Failure to check-in will log the booking as a "no-show". In this case, the system will automatically charge an additional £6 to the member's account and will send a "no-show" email notification on the day following the booking.
- Members with outstanding Late-Cancellation, No-Show and/or Guest Fees must top-up their booking system accounts with an online credit/debit card transaction (min £5) prior to booking more courts.
- GUEST FEES
- When playing a guest, members MUST select "£5 GUEST" as the playing partner/opponent to show on the booking sheet.
- The system will automatically charge the £5 Guest Fee to your booking system account by adding the Guest Fee to the booking fee already paid.
- If you're no longer playing a Guest, you can change your playing partner/opponent to a member, and the court fee will automatically revert to the normal rate (and your account will be credited).
- This can be done when you book the court or any time before playing.
- If you forget to select Guest as the playing partner/opponent before playing, then please be sure to use the facility to "Transfer Credit" (£5) to the Guest account on this system.
